Do you shop on Amazon? Do you know about Amazon Smile?

The AmazonSmile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation created by Amazon to administer the AmazonSmile program. For eligible purchases at AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the customer’s selected charitable organization. All donation amounts generated by the AmazonSmile program are remitted to the AmazonSmile Foundation. In turn, the AmazonSmile Foundation donates those amounts to the charitable organizations selected by our customers. Amazon pays all expenses of the AmazonSmile Foundation; they are not deducted from the donation amounts generated by purchases on AmazonSmile.

Setting Saving One Life as Your Default Amazon Smile Charity

If you already have an Amazon account, this process is very simple.

  • Log into your existing Amazon.com account
  • Click the Your Account menu in the upper right of the page, and select Change Your Charity
  • In the Or pick your own charitable organization text box, Type: Saving One Life
  • Select Saving One Life in Gilbert, AZ

That’s it! Now, make sure you make your amazon purchases through http://smile.amazon.com – each eligible purchase will result in a 0.5% donation to Saving One Life!
