We rely on the generosity of our supporters to be able to provide for the felines in our care.

Although we do collect adoptions fees, they rarely cover the individual cost for each animal adopted. There are many ways you can support our efforts. Even better, our organization is a recognized 501(c)3 so all in-kind and financial donations are tax deductible as permitted by the law.

In-Kind Support

We are always in need of cat related items for the adoption center, sanctuary, and foster homes. We accept in-kind donations of:

  • Wet or Dry Kitten or Adult Cat Food (Preferably Simply Nourish brand)

  • Blankets

  • Towels

  • Clumping Cat Litter

  • Grooming Supplies

  • Pet Beds

  • Cat Carriers

  • Cat Toys

  • Kennels

  • Cleaning Supplies (Glass Cleaner, Bleach-based Cleaners, Paper Towels)

  • Cat Towers or Scratching Posts

  • Kitten Milk Replacement Powder

  • Food Bowls

We also can make great use of gift cards to PetSmart, Target, Amazon or any other retail establishment.

Financial Support

Although we do our best to make good use of our in-kind donations, inevitably items must be purchased and veterinarian bills must be paid. For this reason, we are incredibly thankful when one of our supporters chooses to support us financially. Since we are entirely volunteer run, all financial support goes directly to saving and providing for our rescue cats.

For your next neighborhood get together or birthday party, consider asking your guests to bring donations for Saving One Life in lieu of gifts. This is a great way to avoid getting unneeded hostess gifts while allowing your guests to show their gratitude.
